Life is – to stay with the image once again – the journey of an individual who encounters the world in amazement. Depending on the circumstances, times, opportunities and abilities, he goes on a journey. He looks for goals, looks at maps and then takes paths to reach these goals. He sets out into the world.
The motivation, form and quality of destinations and travel change as life and travel experience grows. In my case, arriving as quickly and directly as possible became less and less important. In contrast, the HOW became more and more important, i.e. the quality of the experience along the way and the most attentive recording of the things I encountered along the way, which often led me to take a detour or side route away from the direct route. Concentrating on being open to what is suddenly there and being able to perceive it as a surprising gift and thus an enriching expansion of the horizon of experience, without losing my inner compass.
It is very important to pause again and again along the way so that the experience really becomes an inner reality that sustains my entire being; or in other words: keeps my inner flame burning as spiritual raw material.
So I always take breaks on my routes. Especially when I feel I’ve covered a whole stage.

In terms of playing the piano, this has now happened again. I have reached a milestone this fall and am in the process of looking back with gratitude, processing what has happened and being happy about it (instead of already being on the next stretch again).
And so the Workshop Concert No. 15 in the Heynhöfe became a wonderful little celebration with friends: this dreamed-of shift in concert situations from “performing” to “being” begins to become real… Magical night!
Thank you very much for your interest, your company and your support! I wish you all a peaceful end to the year and a Happy New Year 2018.
See you soon
Harald
